The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) is a lineage society that is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) charitable organization dedicated to historic preservation, education and patriotism.

Our Anan Harmon DAR Chapter members volunteer in our local communities, in our state and nationwide. Together we make a change!
Do you want to ...
  • support our active duty military personnel
  • assist veteran patients
  • help our country's schools and libraries
  • promote conservation initiatives
  • learn and help others with their genealogical research

As of 2015, the NSDAR boasts 177,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the United States and internationally. Any woman 18 years or older-regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership in the NSDAR.
