Our Anan Harmon DAR Chapter members volunteer in our local communities, in our state and nationwide. Together we make a change!

Any woman 18 years or older-regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership in the NSDAR.

You become a member of the National Society DAR by joining a local chapter.  Anan Harmon Chapter is located in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, but we have members from various surrounding communities including Lombard, Villa Park, Glendale Heights, and Bloomingdale.

To join you will need to provide your family lineage back to a person, male or female, who actively supported the colonials in the American Revolutionary War.  (Eligibility Requirements as explained on the NSDAR website.)

We will help you with this genealogical research and completing your DAR application for membership. As an active, thriving DAR chapter, we always look forward to having new members.

During the application process, you are welcome and encouraged to be a guest at an Anan Harmon Chapter meetings and events so you can meet our members and hear about all the opportunities the DAR has to offer. Please contact us for the date, time, and location of our next meeting.
